  • Southern restores Seaford and Lewes services to timetable

    Train passengers using services between Seaford and Brighton received some welcome news today after Southern Railway announced it is to restore the full timetable on the route from next Monday (26 September).

  • Southern restores Tonbridge, Reigate and Redhill services to timetable

    Southern Railway today continued to deliver on its promise to restore train services by announcing it would be reinstating the full timetable from Tonbridge and Reigate to Redhill and London Victoria/London Bridge next Monday (19 September). This will also see the full service between Redhill and London restored.

  • ​GTR responds to RMT station staff strike

    Responding to the RMT’s strike by Station staff on 7 September, Alex Foulds, GTR’s Passenger Services Director, said: “This is a cynical and deliberate stunt by the RMT to try and bring our trains to a standstill by co-ordinating strike action on two fronts on the same day to cause maximum disruption, delay and damage to our passengers’ everyday lives and the economy."

    As the evening peak approaches on day two of the RMT conductor strike, Southern services continue to run well with nine out of ten trains reaching their destinations on time.
