A grandmother and mum-of-three will be performing at Brighton Fringe next year following the sell-out success of her inaugural one-woman comedy show.
Dan Canales, who works for Govia Thameslink Railway at the Brighton station Travel Centre, will be boxing to fight cancer this Saturday [15 June], in his first ever competitive bout. Dan, 38, who lives near Steyning in West Sussex, has already raised over £500 for Cancer Research UK during his training.
The team at Brighton station welcomed Ovingdean-based Blind Veterans UK today [Wed 22 May] ahead of the organisation’s meeting at House of Lords. The meeting was to discuss research into traumatic brain injuries in conflict that result in sight loss.
From Monday 18th April, the two-tier cycle rack at the rear of Brighton station (opposite the new cycle hub) will close for two weeks for essential maintenance.
