    Rail passengers will be able to socially distance more easily, helping prevent the spread of Covid-19, by using smartphone eTickets at 14 more stations on the Gatwick Express, Great Northern, Southern and Thameslink network.

    Rail tour brings in £10,000 for special causes

    Passengers and railway colleagues have raised £10,000 for charity with a special farewell rail tour to mark the retirement of the venerable Class 313 train from Great Northern, after 42 years in service.
