Leading Train Company Shares Reassurance to Welcome Pupils Back-on-Board

Ahead of schools and colleges returning to face-to-face learning from Monday 8th March, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) is sharing advice and reassurance to pupils and students who plan to travel by train.
On 22nd February, the train company introduced a reduced timetable to better match the fewer number of passengers travelling due to lockdown. The new timetable follows feedback from key worker

GTR has confirmed that service levels will not be changing, which will help students to stagger their journeys. More images below and audio available on request.

Southern's Go-Learn programme is a hit with 5,000 youngsters

Over the last year Southern and Sussex Community Rail Partnership’s (SCRP) Go-Learn railway education programme, focused on teaching school children about safe and independent travel, has been delivered to almost 5,500 children, whilst also receiving excellent reviews, from both teachers and youngsters. Go-Learn, continues to engage youngsters and encourage them to be safe train travellers.
