Amber weather warnings as Storm Bram heads to parts of the UK
The Met Office has issued several amber weather warnings for parts of the UK with Storm Bram set to on Tuesday and Wednesday. Yellow warnings have also been issued for most of Wales, the southwest of England and the Central Belt of Scotland. Check here for the latest forecast.
IAM RoadSmart Director of Policy and Standards Nicholas Lyes said: “Storm Bram will bring disruptive and potentially dangerous conditions on the roads with motorcyclists at particular risk. High winds will likely bring down trees, creating extra hazards for those travelling, with drivers and riders needing to exercise greater observational caution. Motorists should consider how essential their journey is.”
