Centrum B is again approved for automotive quality certification

Centrum B s.r.o., a company in the Lesjofors group, successfully got through recertification audit to ISO TS 16 949, the quality certificate towards the automotive industry.

From May the 28th till May the 30th the audit was made to certify that Centrum B still lives up to the high standards in ISO/TS 16 949, the quality certificate towards the automotive industry. The audit was made by company TÜV SÜD Germany. The new certificate is valid to 2017. 

About Centrum B
Centrum B Ltd was established in 1991 and specializes in the production of cold coiled springs. The production program includes wire form parts in the dimensions from 0.4 to 2.3 mm, compression springs and tension springs in dimensions 0.1-5.0 mm and springs from strip steel in the dimension 10 mm x 1 mm.

Centrum B wins prestigious quality award

Centrum B, part of the Lesjöfors Group, has been awarded with the Kiekert Quality Award 2015 “KieCup” as the best supplier in Europe by Kiekert AG, the technology leader in automotive closure system technology. The award was received at a ceremony during the annual “Kiekert European Suppliers’ Day” on May 20th.

The Slovakian Lesjöfors company Centrum B was in April awarded with the “Social Responsible Company” Seal in an assessment from a national business development organization.

Slovakian trainee program for recruiting young technicians

A new form of trainee program has been implemented in Slovakia to increase the numbers of technical skilled workers. Lesjöfors company Centrum B* employed in 2017 young workers who will combine a technical education with internship in the company.
