Centrum B wins prestigious quality award

Centrum B, part of the Lesjöfors Group, has been awarded with the Kiekert Quality Award 2015 “KieCup” as the best supplier in Europe by Kiekert AG, the technology leader in automotive closure system technology. The award was received at a ceremony during the annual “Kiekert European Suppliers’ Day” on May 20th.

Kiekert supplies the leading vehicle makers worldwide with its innovative closure system technology. Every third car worldwide has closure systems based on a Kiekert design. “Premium quality and absolute reliability at best landed costs are the bases of maximum comfort and safety for Kiekert. Therefore Kiekert works only with suppliers and partners, who meet the high Kiekert quality requirements and the Slovakian Lesjöfors company Centrum B is an approved global supplier to Kiekert”, says Kiekert CEO Dr. Karl Krause.

At the annual “Kiekert European Suppliers’ Day” Kiekert also holds a competition, where suppliers’ achievements in different criteria are evaluated. In earlier competitions Centrum B has placed itself top three but this year they went all the way as winners with 99,26 percent accurate deliveries in the evaluation.
