Lifeplus Foundation Fundraising weekend

The Lifeplus Foundation Fundraising Weekend is back! Following your enthusiasm and generosity last year, we’re once again hosting a weekend of fundraising in aid of the Lifeplus Foundation. All donations are used on projects which help give people the opportunity to make better lives for themselves, safe water, reliable food sources, opportunities for education and emergency relief supplies, are just some of the ways we’re helping. Already, through your participation with our past Lifeplus Foundation Fundraising Weekend activities, we’ve helped over 2000 children in rural South East Kenya spend more time in school, by providing safe water and proper sanitation facilities. We’ve supported communities in building sand dam’s which allow them to harvest rainwater and provide a clean, reliable source, throughout the year, even during periods of drought, for themselves and their crops. All in all, the Lifeplus Foundation has ensured safe, ongoing water to 18,000 children and adults and this year, with your help, we will take that number to well over 20,000! Once again, the intrepid Lifeplus executive team will be cycling from St. Neots in the UK to Cologne via the Netherlands, covering over 500km to help to reach that goal. We will be kicking off our fundraising weekend with a ‘Party with a Purpose’. Not only will we be welcoming our team of cyclists, but we’re planning an afternoon and evening of food, music and lots of fundraising fun! On Saturday 26th August 2017 it’s our Lifeplus Foundation Heart & Soles Fun Run. You can walk or run 5km, or run 10km, it’s up to you. This year we’re also adding the Junior Fun Run for children ages 6-12, so they can be part of the fun too!
