New Managing Director of Petronord

Lennard Schneider will assume the role of Managing Director of Petronord GmbH & Co. KG on 1^st December 2022 and head up the newly established Energy Distribution unit. He succeeds Volker Tiedemann, who built up and expanded the Petronord Group, and successfully managed it for more than 21 years.

As part of a split of the Petronord business into two newly created areas, Commercial Road Transport and Energy Distribution, Lennard Schneider will take over as Head of Energy Distribution. This business area comprises the end-customer business in Germany, Austria, and Sweden. A decision on the position as Head of Commercial Road Transport, the business area which comprises Petronord’s share in the tankpool24 network, will be taken shortly.

Lennard Schneider has worked successfully for Marquard & Bahls AG and Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG in various positions since September 2016. During his career with the company, he has among other things been responsible for the retail business in Moldova. In his role as Senior Business Development Manager for Mabanaft, he has since September 2021 played a key part in the development of the Commercial Road Transport strategy.

Volker Tiedemann will leave the company at his own request after more than 21 successful years. From the very beginning, he helped build up the end-customer business, and under his responsibility the Petronord Group grew continuously from 5 to 36 companies.
