Mabanaft, a Hamburg-based energy company, has received 12.4 million in funding to construct a solar methanol plant in Australia. The grant approval from German Projektträger Jülich is a crucial milestone for the project, which aims to build a demonstration plant with a capacity of 7,500 tonnes of green methanol per year.
