"Never Alone!" An impressionist painting depicting the beauty of nature and the cosmos.

Mas.s has produced his latest in a series of landscape paintings. Depicting the majesty and mystery of nature and the cosmos. He says "We are often carried away by the problems and sorrows of the day, I try to let people look up, look into space and beauty. The theme in this particular painting is "The light is always shining! In the moon,the stars and beyond the horizon,tomorrow is a brand new day"

Preceded by other paintings touching upon Dawn and Noon he has now reflected upon the landscape and sky by night in again another technique. He has created depth by using various blues in a very specific and unique method. He added the various stars in this painting whilst still wet thus creating a sky where you want to dive into. The village reminds him of his native Holland and the hills are coming from his memories of the Tuscany and the Yorkshire dales, amongst others. The fields are in deep yellows and violet,  whilst the village is lit up in deep reds, creating a radiant display of colours on a 30 x 60 inch canvas, a rather unusual size for this type of work.

He says " I went in my t shirt, shorts and slippers to the ceremony as I thought I did not stand a chance in this distinguished, reputable and classy field of Visual Artists."The various art critics thought different.

London Art Biennale 2013. Chelsea Old Townhall is the perfect stage for this curated, museum quality exhibition.

Mas.s is one of the 140 artists from 40 countries to participitate in this exciting and prestigious exhibition which takes place from the from the 24th to the 26th of January. The London based artist will be showing his work "Never Alone! It's a beautiful day." A landscape with a difference. Light and colour is a central theme in all of his work. He says"I am honored to participate, come and see!"

London Art Biennale 2013 was a huge success. Mas.s receives an award for artistic merit.

The organisers, the participating artists and the visiting public can look back on an astounding art show. Many cultures and countries were able to showcase their artistic capabilities in a host of art forms. Mas.s "To receive an award for artistic merit, offers for gallery representations, invitations and finally a purchaser for the presented artwork was much more then I expected."

Mas.s has produced a new series of landscape paintings who will be available at Gagliardi gallery in Chelsea from this week. Recent demand has prompted these new series consisting of 5 paintings. Using his very distinctive and unique techniques he has orchestred colours, shapes and moods. One central theme is beauty, the beauty of life.
