The Cadbury Foundation spreads festive cheer with significant charity donation

In celebration of Christmas Jumper Day 2025, The Cadbury Foundation has donated over £20,000 to charities across the UK&I.

The annual celebration invites Mondelēz International employees to sport their best festive jumper and pose for a picture with colleagues. For each image shared, The Cadbury Foundation made a donation to charities in the UK&I.

This year, a total of 850 employees participated in the initiative, bringing the total sum to £23,000, which was shared between Trussell in the UK and LauraLynn in Ireland.

Mondelēz International and The Cadbury Foundation have worked with Trussell since 2020, raising funds to support people facing hunger and hardship across the UK through seasonal charity campaigns, including the annual Christmas Jumper initiative, plus regular food collections and volunteering opportunities.

The Cadbury Foundation, which is celebrating its 90thanniversary this year, was set up in 1935 in recognition of Richard and George Cadbury and their investment in the welfare of their employees and the local community.

The Christmas jumper initiative forms part of The Cadbury Foundation’s ongoing commitment to give back to local communities surrounding its seven sites in the UK, including Chirk, Sheffield and Bournville.

Kelly Farrell, Community Affairs Manager at Mondelēz International said: “We always look forward to celebrating the festive season with our annual Christmas Jumper Day initiative, and we’re thrilled to have smashed our target, and to be able to donate over £20,000 to charities helping those who need it most at this time of year.

“We’re proud to continue supporting communities with Trussell and LauraLynn, and look forward to more opportunities to give back as we look ahead to 2026.”
