    ​Two Northumbria students have had their innovative designs recognised by leading companies after being awarded prestigious prizes at the RSA Student Design Awards. Design for Industry students Callum Smith and Poppy Crow are following in the footsteps of Northumbria alumnus Sir Jonathan Ive, Chief Design Officer of Apple, who won two RSA Student Design awards consecutively in 1988 and 1989.

  • Media and animation students wow audiences

    ​Edgar Allan Poe, dementia and a fencing champion were just some of the inspirations behind this year’s graduating Film and TV Production students. Their final year films were recently screened at a special Media Gala at Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle, before an audience comprising leading members of the film and TV industry.

  • Creative talent revealed

    ​Northumbria opened its annual degree show with a stunning launch event across campus. REVEAL featured the creative work of talented graduating students from the University’s Architecture, Arts, Design and Media course.
