Panasonic Expands Washing Machine Range with Technology for Wrinkle and Allergen-free Laundry
Panasonic’s intelligent Steam Action technology and eco-conscious functions provide fully refreshed garments with enhanced efficiency
Amsterdam, 24th March 2014 – Panasonic today announces the expansion of its washing machine series, introducing the NA-168VS4, NA-148VS4, NA-B48VG5 models. Equipped with energy-saving features for efficient laundry and boasting Panasonic’s advanced Steam Action technology for fully refreshed, allergen-free, and wrinkle-free garments, the new washers offer thorough, gentle cleansing of your clothes whilst reducing the need for ironing.
Steam Action: Fresh, wrinkle-free washing
The NA-168VS4 and NA-148VS4 feature Panasonic’s intelligent Steam Action Technology, designed to ease the chore of laundry. Through firing a shot of steam into the drum during the wash cycle, molecules within the fabric are loosened, enabling them to emerge wrinkle-free after tumbling and helping to reduce the size of your ironing pile.
For those moments when you realise that your favourite garment hasn’t been washed when you need it, re-wear it with confidence that it has been fully refreshed, using the Steam Refresh programme. The 25 minute cycle removes lingering odours such as cigarette smoke and, due to the use of steam only, it is even effective on non-washable items, saving that last minute rush to the dry-cleaners.
For allergy sufferers, Panasonic’s Steam Allergy-care programme gives you the piece-of-mind that your garments remain dust mite and pollen-free, removing 99.99% of allergens*.
Intelligent energy saving technology
The new additions to the range also include Panasonic’s energy saving functions and design. Panasonic’s Eco Mode, Vector Inverter controlled motor and HydroActive+ features enable you to save resources when washing, without compromising on achieving perfect results.
If time is not of the essence, the longer running but eco-conscious Eco Mode saves up to 30% water and 50% energy** during the washing cycle. The innovative, brushless Vector Inverter controlled motor operates at maximum efficiency, using information from a 3D Sensor to determine the required rotation speed of the drum according to the load size, ensuring the best possible energy savings. Complementing these energy-saving features is the HydroActive+ 5 point multi-directional shower. The powerful shower rapidly delivers water for deep penetration of detergent and high rinsing performance, producing clean fabrics efficiently and with less energy consumption.
Gentle care for your clothes
To give your garments the best possible treatment, these models also feature the Sazanami drum, designed by Panasonic for thorough dirt removal whilst being kind to your clothes. The dimple-shaped water spouts prevent clothes from catching, and the unique spout shape enables high spin-drying performance.
Silent operation
These newest additions to Panasonic’s washing machine range come equipped with Inverter technology for quiet operation. The Silent Arch Design integrated into the sides of the appliance absorbs the natural vibrations of the washing machine during operation, ensuring that your washing machine goes unnoticed when active.
