Powerful steam for a healthy lifestyle

The NN-CS894S microwave oven features Panasonic’s new Steam function.  Steam is injected from a high-efficiency boiler unit directly into the upper area of the microwave, and the grill plate divides the oven in two, stopping steam from diffusing throughout the microwave. The result is powerful, high-density steam which enables a new and fast way to cook a wide range of ingredients, reducing fat content, retaining flavor and keeping food moist.

In addition to the new steam function, the NN-CS894S also allows you to choose from a wide range of cooking modes, including 1,350W convection, 1,300W grill, 1,000W micro power and defrost. Whether you’re looking to bake a cake, grill sausages or defrost meat, Panasonic’s new microwave oven will provide outstanding results every time.

A variety of cooking options

The NN-CS894S features split-level convection cooking, which allows you to cook on two levels simultaneously, providing more space. An integrated fan circulates the hot air throughout the entire oven producing a quicker, more even cooking result – ideal for roasting or baking larger meals.

Furthermore, the NN-CS894S also allows you to combine multiple cooking functions simultaneously. The microwave power cooks food quickly whilst the oven and grill provides traditional browning and crispiness. All of this can take place simultaneously, resulting in most ingredients being cooked in two thirds of the time it would usually take. Similarly, with a simple press of the ‘Turbo-Cook’ button when using the convection or grilling settings, 300W of micro power will be added to the cooking process. This significantly speeds up cooking times without impacting on quality or taste.

Intelligent cooking technology

Panasonic’s latest microwave also features the intelligent Sensor Cooking option that makes preparing perfectly cooked food even easier. Simply select the type of food you want to cook, rather than inputting a time, power or weight, and the sensor analyses the humidity inside the oven, letting you know the exact moment your food is ready to eat.

Modern, practical design

Panasonic’s NN-CS894S microwave incorporates a flatbed design, rather than a turntable. A microwave antenna hidden in the base of the oven rotates during use, removing the need for a turntable and resulting in a 45 per cent larger cooking area compared to conventional turntable models. This innovative design not only creates a larger cooking area, it also allows you to place dishes of all shapes and sizes inside the oven.

Furthermore, with the absence of a turntable – which would need to be removed in order to reach the base of the oven - the flatbed design is more practical to clean. For added convenience, the new model’s interior is also covered in self-cleaning catalytic upper and back plates and a fluoric coating to prevent splashed and burnt food from sticking.

Sleek and stylish aesthetics

Measuring 494mm x 438mm x 390mm, the new combination microwave oven has a stylish, contemporary look and features a stainless steel frame and ergonomically designed handle. The NN-CS894S also benefits from a pull down door for conventional oven-style access.

The microwave also boasts a stylishly simple control panel with blue LED display and ‘Swipe & Touch’ user interface. You can easily swipe to scroll through menus and options, tap for precise control and press and hold to easily increase and decrease settings.

These beautifully finished controls are incorporated into the door itself, enabling the front of the microwave to be constructed with a single, tinted sheet of glass.
