Animal tales on an animal trail

Join in with the 13th National Storytelling Week celebrations at Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre by going on an animal trail through the country park.

Guided by NatureEd, the animal activity will take place on Sunday 9 February at the visitor centre where the children will be involved in making their own animal out of natural materials.

The trail will test all of the children’s skills and senses to discover animals and their secrets of survival.

The event has been set up so children can let their imaginations run wild in the wilderness of Hollingworth Lake Country Park.

·  Meet at Hollingworth Lake Visitor’s Centre at 1.30pm.
·  The event will last for two hours.
·  The cost per person is £2.50 and a child must always be accompanied by an adult.

Booking is necessary.

For more information and to book a place, please contact the Visitor Centre on 01706 373421.

The afternoon is being delivered by NatureEd as part of Rochdale’s Countryside Events programme.
