Good things come in trees

Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre is hosting an event to celebrate the Spring Equinox in March, aimed at people who want to nestle themselves in an afternoon like no other.

The fun and informative family afternoon will take place on Sunday 23 March. There will be games and the afternoon will finish up in a nest building activity. 

Cabinet Member for Place and Regulation, Councillor Jacqui Beswick:

“Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre never fails to impress with their activities for young children and families with this one following in their great reputation. It is guaranteed to be a very fun and educational afternoon and a perfect way to get into the Easter season.”

Meet in the Hollingworth Lake Visitor’s Centre at 1.30pm and the event will last for two hours. It costs £2.50 per person and a child must be accompanied by an adult.

People who attend the event will definitely leaf with a smile on their face and the country park in their hearts!
