Press release -
Sitecore looks for champions as it opens the search for Sitecore UK Site of the Year 2012 award winners
London, UK – 11th September 2012 Sitecore, a world leader in innovative software for web content management and multichannel customer engagement management, has opened the nomination process for its Sitecore UK Site of the Year Awards 2012.
The awards, which are open to entry from Sitecore partners and customers, recognise and celebrate excellence in designing and implementing innovative Sitecore solutions. Award categories span eight vertical sectors ranging from entertainment, leisure and travel through to not-for-profit organisations. New for this year’s awards is the introduction of a People’s Choice Award, where the winning entry receives the most votes from the voting public.
Award nominations are judged on a wide range of factors from solution design; the inclusion of mobile web, social media, multi-channel or cloud computing in the solution, through to the use of tools and techniques such as dynamic personalisation and marketing engagement analytics.
Last year’s winners of Sitecore Site of the Year Awards included Heineken, Manchester City FC, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, The Open Championship, NHS Direct, Cadbury, Virgin Active and Kia. This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday 28th November at the Paramount Bar, located on the 34th Floor of the iconic Centrepoint building in central London.
Shawn Cabral, marketing director, Sitecore UK Ltd, commented:
“These awards are highly coveted and the entries we receive from our partners and customers are always of an exceptional standard. This year we are looking for solutions that are using the full potential of Sitecore, as our products encompass a complete digital marketing platform. We have chosen a boxing-theme in the visuals for our awards this year – we know that our partners and customers are competitive and want to win and succeed, so we look forward to receiving award nominations that will land the knockout blow and take the prize.”
Nominations close on Friday 5th October – nomination forms can be downloaded from http://www.sitecore.net/unitedkingdom/landing/unitedkingdom/SSOY2012UK.
