Little Socialites ...

We have lots of fun social events just around the corner for the whole family and particularly for the little ones. It probably is a bit too early to start talking about autumn and it’s almost definitely too early to talk about Christmas but we don’t want your family to miss out on any of our celebrations, so we are giving you plenty of time to put the dates in the diary and get your tickets.

The next few months are some of the best for children, they have started a new school year, they’re planning their ambitious fancy dress costumes for Halloween and they get to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ at fireworks on Bonfire Night. And of course, two of the most important annual tasks of childhood lie ahead; 1. Get the part that they desperately want in the school play and 2. Write their wish list to Father Christmas whilst constantly wondering whether they’ve been naughty or nice.

We want to encourage childhood fun so we will be hosting children’s parties and family events over the coming months to keep your children’s imaginations alive. Our first event is our Children’s Halloween Party on Saturday 31st October between 3pm-5pm which will be full of Halloween-themed entertainment, party food and also a Whacky Wizard will be visiting the children to give them a trick or a treat!

Next on the social calendar is our early Bonfire Night celebration on Sunday 1st November, which is a lovely tradition and it’s for all the family, so bring everyone, wrap up warm and come and enjoy a BBQ and Firework display.

We do apologise for mentioning Christmas so early on in the year but it’s time to make plans and be prepared, it’s only a matter of time before Advent Calendars hit the shops!

Before the big day arrives we will be hosting our Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday 6th December with two different party times available. Your children’s imaginations can run wild with the magic and wonder that is Christmas – there will be party food and entertainment throughout and the children can truly get lost in the festive spirit. And of course, no Christmas Party would be complete without a visit from Father Christmas who will be visiting and delivering a gift to each child.

Finally, on Wednesday 9th December at 7pm there will be a family Christmas carol concert at St Giles Church in Stoke Poges which will be followed by Mulled Wine and Mince Pies at Stoke Park - even if you don’t like thinking that far ahead you can’t deny the temptation of mulled wine and mince pies...

You can reserve your spaces at any of the above events by contacting Hannah Collings on 01753 717112 or emailing hcollings@stokepark.com
