When Is It Too Soon To Talk About Christmas?

Some of you will be adamant that Christmas must not be mentioned before December but we know it’s only a matter of time before the advent calendars hit the supermarket shelves and we are forced to face the fact that Christmas is just 119 days away from now. So whether you like it or not it’s time to embrace the forward-planning and get some dates in your diary for your Christmas plans. Whether you’re abroad, or at home, spending it with friends and family or even visiting us at Stoke Park, you better make plans quickly before everybody and everything gets booked up!

Here at Stoke Park we love Christmas, the atmosphere at Christmas is like no other, the fires are lit and it’s warm and cosy and the luxurious furnishings flourish – Stoke Park at Christmas strikes the perfect balance between luxury, cosy and comfortable. All the acres of greenery look beautiful with a blanket of snow, a dusting of frost or a photogenic early morning dew making the grass glisten. We love welcoming each and every person who steps through our doors. Over the festive period children are welcomed with themed activity packs, we have a fantastic Christmas tree to marvel at and there are decorations everywhere to ensure everyone feels Christmassy.

The Christmas Lunch served in Humphry’s showcases the best of the British roast dinner, with Yorkshire Puddings, Meat and Vegetables full to the brim, tantalizing your taste buds. And of course we would love to assist you with any plans for events you want to hold here over the festive season – take a look at our online Christmas Brochure for more information and festive inspiration.

In the following weeks we will be posting blogs about planning the perfect party, how to cook the perfect turkey and Christmas food and gift ideas!
