Schools Out For Summer!

Here at Stoke Park we have some great things to offer for the school holidays, we are conveniently close to Legoland, Harry Potter World, Thorpe Park and lots of other great attractions, so why not come here as a family and enjoy some time luxuriating in the Great British Outdoors?

It’s not often that luxury and children are associated with one another but at Stoke Park we strike the perfect balance to make sure you still get the Five Red Star treatment throughout your stay, but not only you – your little ones get the same treatment too!

We are very pleased to have been recognised by visitors, journalists and hotel-reviewers as a family friendly venue, we have something for children of all ages. Our bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and when booking you will be advised as to which rooms accommodate various needs for children from put-up beds to cots and bed-guards or whatever your children need! For the youngest of guests we are able to supply all the necessary baby paraphernalia; bath toys, sterilisers, mini towels etc to ensure your little ones have a wonderful stay. Older children will be treated to a personalised cookie on arrival, colourful and fun bedding and an activity pack bursting with fun.

During the day you can explore the local nature and wildlife, walk through the memorial gardens, around the heritage trail or hide away from the sunshine in our games room.

You can race the children to the outdoor playground to see who can swing the highest, slide down the fastest or maybe even let your competitive streak shine with a little family competitive game of football on the mini football pitch in the garden. Make the most of Stoke Park Splash Times in the indoor swimming pool when children are welcome to be noisy and splashy and just be children! We also have Golf & Tennis camps available throughout summer for the children to keep active, make some new friends and enjoy the holidays...

If you have a sweet tooth or simply agree that Afternoon Tea is the most important and delicious meal of the day then you’ll have to try one of our many options; Champagne Afternoon Tea, Chocolate Afternoon Tea, traditional afternoon tea and for the children – Little Stars Afternoon Tea. As a family you can enjoy Afternoon Tea in The Orangery, Little Stars can enjoy mini sandwiches and teddy-bear biscuits washed down with a milkshake – yummy!!

And for something a little more savoury and substantial we have great dining options at lunch and dinner times for the whole family. Two out of our three restaurants have Children’s Menus and highchairs at the ready! San Marco is the most relaxed, informal and the most popular choice amongst our little diners but they are also welcomed in The Orangery.

Our fine-dining restaurant Humphry’s food is available to you and your family and it will be served in The Orangery to give you a more comfortable atmosphere. However, if you want a night without the children then we can also arrange a babysitting service with Tinies who will keep an eye on the children whilst you enjoy the tranquillity of adult-only time.
