A support group for stroke survivors in South Shields is relaunching with a new and improved venue and calling out for volunteers, in its mission to help people in the area come to terms with a life after stroke.
Crosland Heath Golf Club in Huddersfield has raised more than £3,600 for the Stroke Association, after holding a series of fundraising events for the charity.
Around 170 stroke survivors and Merseyside residents raised more than £1,800 for the Stroke Association, by taking part in the charity’s Step out for Stroke walk in Croxteth Park on Saturday 06 May.
