#runneroftheweek - Kayleigh Crann
Mum Kayleigh is getting ready to take on the #GreatNorthRun once again this year to raise hundreds of pounds for us!
This year, she will be joined by partner Luke which she thinks will help her on the way round.
Kayleigh's son Theo, now 4, was born with a condition affecting just 1 in 3000 where his intestines developed outside the abdominal wall which meant he spent the first two months of his life in Newcastle’s RVI . We supported Kayleigh at our ‘Home from Home’ during this time.
Top running tip: "When you're a full-time working Mum it can be hard fitting in your training, but I make sure I have half an hour at least one night a week where I can train."
