V.Ships Ukraine named employer of the year for a second consecutive time

For a second consecutive year, V.Ships Ukraine has scooped the prestigious Employer of the year award at the Ukrainian Maritime Rating awards.

The award was given to our crewing operations in Ukraine in recognition of employing the highest number of Ukrainian seafarers in 2016 – 6,915, around 400 more than in 2015.

Captain Igor Safin, managing director of V.Ships Ukraine accepted the award once again on behalf of his team: “To be awarded this title for a second consecutive year is a fantastic achievement and it’s thanks to the talent of our seafarers and our on going investment in their careers that we are able to provide these employment opportunities.
