British pop group The Dowling Poole has released an acoustic live recording of the song 'Empires, Buildings and Acquisitions', and it's now available as a free download. The full electric version of the song features on the groups critically acclaimed debut album 'Bleak Strategies' which was released in 2014. Also available now, 3 new EP's: 'Deep Breath', 'Miles Checks Out' and 'Bright Spark.'
'Deep Breath' is the latest EP from The Dowling Poole, formed by singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Willie Dowling and Jon Poole. "Let's not beat about the bush here, this song is our inevitable response to the strange new world of Brexit and President Trump", says Willie Dowling. The 'Deep Breath' EP features two live bonus tracks ('A Kiss On the Ocean' and 'Paper, Scissors, Stone).
Following their critically acclaimed second album ‘One Hyde Park’, which was released earlier this year, The Dowling Poole has just released a new EP, featuring a brand new never heard before song ‘Miles Checks Out’. The EP features bonus tracks ‘Saving It All For A Saturday’ and ‘Getting A Licence’ which were recorded live in Manchester on the band’s acoustic tour in 2015.
The first three full band gigs in May with The Dowling Poole were a tremendous success. The concerts received great reviews, (hyperlinks) including Get Ready To Rock calling The Borderline show 'A truly stunning night of pop rock'. The Dowling Poole play Huddersfield, The Parish 30 June, Glasgow, Audio 2 July and Manchester, Gulliver's 3 July.
