Vilokan ADF Solutions GmbH, begin the operation of the Recycling Plant and ADF fluid management at MUC

Vilokan's new German subsidiary, Vilokan ADF Solutions GmbH, has been awarded the operation of the aircraft de-icing fluid recycling facility at Munich Airport, MUC, starting from the winter season 2023-2024. The contract includes overall responsibility for the supply and disposal logistics of aircraft de-icing fluids, ADF, as well as the operation of the recycling and production facility at MUC.

The recycling facility at Munich Airport was commissioned immediately upon the opening of the airport in 1992 and has since produced a certified Type I ADF for direct use at the airport. The plant processes approximately 6,000 - 15,000 m³ of collected de-icing fluid per season and produces approximately 1,500 - 4,500 m³ of ready-to-use ADF Type I. With this "on-site" production, the need for ADF Type I for the de-icing company EFM (www.munich-airport.de/efm) is covered by approx. 70%.
