    Norway has seen a growth in fascinating architecture and design in the last few years. This has also happened with accommodation all over the country, where you now can sleep, eat, find exciting culture, history and participate in exciting adventures – or simply get away from it all and relax and contemplate, or practice friluftsliv.     Norway – the most awarded country in Bocuse d’Or

    A culinary revolution has taken place in Norway in recent years, led by a wave of innovative Norwegian master chefs like Christian André Pettersen. Pettersen led Team Norway to secure the gold medal in the European final in ​Bocuse d’Or that was held in Tallinn, Estonia, on Friday, October 16. Bocuse d’Or Europe has been arranged seven times and Norway has reached the podium on each occasion.

    Welcome to Space. As Norway annunced that travellers from many EEA and Schengen countries will again be able to visit the country from 15 July, they are also inviting to «Norwegian Space Travel». Norway is inviting you to enjoy their available space this summer. And they got a lot of it. There is an average of 15 people per square kilometre in Norway.

    Oslo’s new public library has finally opened

    ​Oslo’s new main public library, Deichman Bjørvika, has finally opened its doors for the public of Oslo and all visitors to the Norwegian capital. The opening marks another huge milestone in the development of Bjørvika and Oslo. Through the last decade Oslo has transformed into an urban fjord city with an abundance of cultural highlights and iconic landmarks, like the Opera House.

    Museums and attractions are opening up in Norway

    ​As the COVID-19 situation is improving in Norway, restaurants, bars, hotels, swimming pools etc. are opening up. We also see that more and more attractions and museums in Norway either have opened up or are planning to do so. Here is a list of some of the attractions.

    The new Deichman library in Oslo opens on June 18

    The new main library in Oslo opens on June 18. Deichman Bjørvika will be a library for the future and has been built according to passive house standards, reducing its carbon footprint and energy consumption significantly. The library will also contain a cinema, open workshops, cafés and ample space to relax, read and explore.
