PROGRAMME LAUNCH – BODØ2024 EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE

Next year Bodø, Northern Norway, will be European Capital of Culture, the first city north of the Arctic Circle to hold the prestigious title. 1,000 events are being planned for the occasion in Bodø and Nordland throughout 2024. Here are some of the highlights.

Tracking Munch. In the footsteps of world famous artist Edvard Munch

Edvard Munch, painter of the iconic The Scream, is to have his life portrayed in a Norwegian feature film from Viaplay. One of the world’s greatest artists of all time will be depicted across four stages in Munch, with a quartet of Norwegian actors boarding the feature.
