Kunstsilo in Kristiansand, Norway has been awarded the prestigious Prix Versailles World Title. The announcement was made on 4 December 2025 at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris during the Prix Versailles award ceremony. Kunstsilo had been shortlisted as the only Nordic museum among seven candidates in the category World’s Most Beautiful Museums.
The old silo located on the island of Odderøya will get a new lease on life when Kunstsilo opens the doors to its universe of art which offers a wealth of experiences for visitors of all ages. The opening date will be May 11th, 2024.
