Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP YZR-M1 to Proudly Display the Logo of India Yamaha Motor’s Brand Campaign "The Call of the Blue" at the Official Sepang MotoGP IRTA Test and at the Indian GP

February 10, 2023 – The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team are delighted to highlight their growing relationship with India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM). The logo of IYM's successful brand campaign "The Call of the Blue" will be in full view on Fabio Quartararo’s and Franco Morbidelli’s YZR-M1s at the Official Sepang MotoGP IRTA Test and at the Indian GP.

The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team strive to make Indian motorsport fans feel represented in MotoGP and ‘Rev their heart’. The team aims to give Indian fans a sense of pride when they see “The Call of the Blue” displayed on the Factory Yamaha YZR-M1s.

With the addition of the Grand Prix of India to the 2023 MotoGP calendar, the inclusion of a visual representation for the Indian market on the front cowl of Fabio Quartararo’s and Franco Morbidelli’s bikes was a no-brainer.

Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP thank India Yamaha Motor as well as the passionate Indian fans for their support. The team is highly motivated to kick off the 2023 season and can’t wait to visit the Buddh International Circuit for the Grand Prix of India later this year, from 22-24 Sept.

Lin Jarvis - Yamaha Motor Racing Srl’s Managing Director

“The 2023 MotoGP season is offering a lot of exciting new challenges and opportunities. But what we are most looking forward to is that we get to visit new circuits in countries where the fans are as passionate about motorsports as we are.
India is a very important market for Yamaha. It’s one of the countries with the highest two-wheeler use in the world.
We are delighted that the Grand Prix of India, to be held in September, will finally give us the opportunity to pay this country a visit and to develop a closer bond with India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM). We are planning numerous joint activities before and during the Indian GP focused on connecting with the Indian fans.
In the meantime, it’s only fitting that IYM’s brand campaign logo is displayed on our YZR-M1s at the 2023 first Official MotoGP Test as well as at the Indian GP, to make the Indian fans feel involved in our 2023 MotoGP World Championship challenge.”
