  • Yanmar Collaborates with fragment design on Stunning New X47FRGMT

    Yanmar Holdings has entered into a collaboration with design house “fragment design”, headed by renowned designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, to develop a special version of Yanmar’s flagship X47 EXPRESS CRUISER. The vessel, called the X47FRGMT, is now on sale.

  • "Ishin" Tugboat Equipped with Yanmar Dual Fuel Engine for Reduced Environmental Load

    ​Osaka Bay's first LNG tugboat, "Ishin" was completed at Kobe Port on February 27, 2019 and since March 2020, has been working in Osaka Bay and the Seto Inland Sea guiding large vessels in the area. Yanmar supplied two marine dual fuel engines (6EY26DF), as well as the fuel supply system which included the LNG fuel tank, buffer tank, and gas fuel device.

  • Yanmar Launches Global Customer Service Hub: Yanmar Synergy Square

    Yanmar Global CS Co., Ltd. , a subsidiary of Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. today commences operations at Yanmar Synergy Square (YSQ). Built as a center for excellence in global customer service, YSQ will serve as the headquarters of YGCS, a Yanmar Group company that was established in April of this year. Yanmar’s Remote Support Center also moves to the site, incorporating enhanced functionality.

  • Yanmar Receives Order for 8EY26LDF Dual Fuel Engines to Power Japan’s First LNG Ferries

    anmar has received an order from Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd for dual fuel 8EY26LDF engines. The engines will be used to power generators on board Japan’s first two LNG ferries (provisionally named “Sunflower Kurenai” and “Sunflower Murasaki”). The ferries are to be built at Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.’s Shimonoseki Shipyard.

  • YANMAR Establishes Middle East Branch in Dubai

    Yanmar has announced the establishment of its Middle East Branch, located in the United Arab Emirates, near Dubai Airport. The office will be operated by Yanmar subsidiary and Asia regional headquarters, Yanmar Asia (Singapore) Co., Ltd., and will provide sales and service support to dealers in Yanmar’s middle east territory.

  • HIMOINSA Provides Power in the Fight Against Covid19 in Spain

    Generators from Yanmar subsidiary HIMOINSA have been used in disinfection activities to combat the coronavirus pandemic. HIMOINSA distributor, Dos Vías Alquiler de Maquinaria located in Asturias, a region in the north of the country, supplied mobile equipment to assist with fumigation of various public facilities to combat the pandemic.

  • YANMAR Engines Power COVID-19 Disinfection

    Yanmar Europe and Qaswaa Al-Bararry have taken part in a project to disinfect and sanitize public areas in Baghdad in an effort to limit the spread of the coronavirus and protect the Iraqi community.
