Yanmar has announced its official sponsorship of the ASEAN Football Federation’s four major national team and club events: the ASEAN Championship™, the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™, the ASEAN MSIG Serenity Cup™, and the ASEAN U-23 Championship™, collectively branded as the ASEAN United FC. The partnership is an extension of Yanmar’s sponsorship of the ASEAN Championship™ from 2016 to 2022.
Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. signed an official sponsorship agreement for the Southeast Asian Football Championships to be held from December 2022 to January 2023. The event is to be held every two years and will be known as the "AFF MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CUP 2022". Yanmar’s sponsorship continues its support for the event in the 2016, 2018 and 2020 tournaments.
