Atos' Vision of Social Media Networking for 2020

In 2012, the London Olympic Games was the favorite, most liked and trended sporting event in recent history. Fast forward to 2014, the social media record is still held by the London 2012 Closing Ceremony, which generated an extraordinary 2000 tweets per second at its peak.

The Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games looks set to break records for social media interaction, thanks in part to the young athletes and fans' natural affinity to social media and the explosion of social networking on Weibo, WeChat, QQ and renren, etc, boosted by the growth of mobile technology and connectivity in China.

Regardless of the outcome, what is beyond speculation is Atos Business Technologists' commitment to help power the Games and set new records for social interaction.
