Cravendale skimmed milk - low in fat and full of taste

Press Release   •   May 18, 2004 12:25 BST

The weather's warmer, the nights are shorter and winter woollies are banished to the bottom drawer. And that's when panic sets in.

As summer approaches, the thought of squeezing into a flesh revealing wardrobe and worse still - a bikini - fills countless women with dread. In a bid to lose weight and cut down on fat, often the first point of action is a switch from the creamy delights of full fat milk to the usually insipid and watery alternative of skimmed milk.

But not all skimmed milk is so taxing on your taste buds. Because Cravendale skimmed fresh milk is pure filtered, it retains far more of its creamy taste than ordinary skimmed milk, and at only 0.1% fat, it's ideal as part of a calorie-controlled diet.

Plus, recent American research found that including foods which are low in fat and high in calcium may actually help fight the flab and Cravendale skimmed fresh milk has all the calcium-rich benefits and vitamins of full-fat milk.

So if you're going on a diet, giving up delicious and nutritious fresh milk is one sacrifice you don't have to make.
