Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) is reminding passengers to travel only if absolutely necessary with Southern, Great Northern or Thameslink this Saturday, 8 October, due to strikes by the RMT union at Network Rail and UK train operators

Passengers should travel only if absolutely necessary on Southern, Great Northern and Thameslink on Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August and the mornings after on Friday 19 and Sunday 21 August due to next week’s strike by RMT members at Network Rail and UK train operators
Passengers are strongly advised to travel only if absolutely necessary between Cambridge, Peterborough, Hertford North and London and to and from stations in between this Saturday, 30 July

Train operator Southern will be aiming to run most of its services during the RMT’s latest strike next Monday, 13 March
“This is a cynical and deliberate stunt by the RMT to try and bring our trains to a standstill by co-ordinating strike action on two fronts on the same day to cause maximum disruption, delay and damage to our passengers’ everyday lives and the economy."
