#VolunteersWeek - Books 4 Good Causes

For five years now, our Sheffield ‘Homes from Home’ Treetop and Magnolia Houses have been supported by Books 4 Good Causes which raise around £1,000 every year by selling books in Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

The dedicated team, which consists of Jill Aston, Katie Brown, Lynne Hutchinson, Evelyn Brack and Julie, hold the stall every other Tuesday selling books in the hospital’s main entrance.

Assistant House Manager, Nichola Higgins, says: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Books 4 Causes team for supporting us. Because of their help we are able to support thousands of families with free ‘Home from Home’ accommodation when they have a seriously ill child in Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

“We’re so grateful for their continued support, it means so much to us.”
