#VolunteersWeek - Meet Margaret, our Chestnut House volunteer

Margaret is a lovely volunteer who supports our Cambridge team at Chestnut House. We have had the pleasure of Margaret’s help for the last few years, following her retirement from the hospital. Margaret says:

By volunteering, in a very small way I'm just helping to make life a bit easier for parents with poorly babies."

Chestnut House supports hundreds of families with seriously ill babies at The Rosie Hospital. The ‘Home from Home’ has eight en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a shared living and dining area and full laundry facilities. Acorn and Chestnut House Manager Abi Abdel-aal says:

“Margaret is always smiling and is a very valued member of our team here at Chestnut House. We can’t thank her enough for coming in and supporting us – she really makes a huge difference.”

Thank you Margaret for volunteering.
