Advania has announced plans to establish sovereign AI clouds in each of its seven operational countries, giving organisations the ability to harness AI securely, affordably, and in full compliance with national regulations. The initiative builds on proven operations in Sweden and Iceland and marks a major step toward making AI both accessible and sovereign across Northern Europe.
Advania continues to grow. The company welcomes smartvokat, a German-based consultancy specializing in digital transformation for legal, risk, and compliance teams. With deep expertise in workflow automation and AI-driven compliance, smartvokat strengthens Advania’s Transformation & Automation unit in Sweden, helping customers modernize business-critical processes.
James Hardy is the new CEO of Advania UK. “We have successfully brought together four companies into one unified business with the capabilities to manage clients’ entire IT spend. All the pieces are in place, now we execute,” says Group CEO Hege Störe.
