An original 1949 “Chieftain Sofa” by Danish designer Finn Juhl has resurfaced, returning to the market as one of the most elusive objects in Scandinavian design history. The sofa is estimated at DKK 1.2-1.5 million (€160,585-200,700) and will be offered at auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Copenhagen on 18 June.
