AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Completed 2025-26 Maintenance Contract of 3x C Checks on Boeing B737 Aircraft

At the beginning of May, AMAC Aerospace Bodrum, Turkey, completed the 2025-26 maintenance season for a long term customer. This was the third and final maintenance project in their contract for the season.

The scope of work for the third aircraft included a C check, several non-destructive testing (NDT) tests, removal and installation of both engines and the galley, replacement of the stiffener at the left buttock line (LBL 6.15) and right buttock line (RBL 6.15), installation of angle and bonding jumpers and repair of a crack on the trailing edge (T/E) rib assembly located on the left-hand wing at the buttock line (BL 415.93).

The previous completed project also included a C check, as well as the removal and installation of the auxiliary power unit (APU), the APU shroud, the cargo panel ceiling, the galley lavatory, the fuel panels and the outboard flap tracks 1 and 8 for NDT inspection. Lastly, some defects were rectified before the aircraft returned to service.

The customer was very pleased with the support and stated: “The project engineer and the entire team were always proactive and accessible. Many thanks for their efforts.“
