AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Database Updates and Line Maintenance on Dassault Falcon 6X and 7X

In mid-August, AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Istanbul, welcomed a Dassault Falcon 6X and 7X aircraft for database updates and line maintenance. The periodic database of the Dassault Falcon 6X was updated to the latest cycle. The aircraft’s landing gear and steering control module (LGSCM) were found to be faulty, so AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s team performed a troubleshooting and replaced the unit with a serviceable one.

The database of the Dassault Falcon 7X was also updated, and a portable fire extinguisher weight check and other out-of-phase tasks were performed. During the aircraft’s stay at the Istanbul hangar, one of the main landing gear wheels was replaced with a spare. The team also performed a troubleshooting and replaced the decoder digital interface box (DDIB) and programmable switch panel (PSW) with serviceable units.
