AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Defect Rectification on Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy
A Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy underwent defect rectification at AMAC Aerospace’s hangar in Istanbul, Turkey. The operator had reported a pressure relief valve (PRV) CAS message, so AMAC Aerospace’s team performed a detailed inspection and found that a faulty printed circuit board (PCB) was causing the issue. They replaced the part and performed an engine run-up to check valve operations.
The aircraft was also experiencing intermittent fuel problems. The team identified the root cause as an issue with the fuel quantity management computer (FQMC) and replaced it with a serviceable computer.
Lastly, new parts for the aircraft’s standby battery and advanced graphic module (AGM) were received and installed before the aircraft was released.
