AMAC Aerospace Turkey: High Demand for Dassault Falcon Maintenance Inspections

AMAC Aerospace Turkey continues to experience high demand for maintenance inspections at the facility in Istanbul. Throughout January-February, several checks were completed.

A Dassault Falcon 2000s belonging to a long term customer underwent 12- and 24-month inspections as well as 800- and 1600-flight hour letter checks. Following these inspections, several rectifications were performed, including fuel treatment, corrosion protection, replacement of the slat extension control relay, bonding and the engine generator control unit (GCU). Additionally, the footrest was adjusted and the databases were updated. The logo was also replaced as the aircraft had been transferred to a new customer. The private owner had a tight flight schedule, so AMAC Aerospace’s technicians worked overtime and managed to meet the expected improved timeline.

Another Dassault Falcon 2000s underwent a 2-month inspection supported by EPS (emergency power supply) battery packs replacement and water system sterilization.

The team also performed a 2-month inspection and water system sterilization on a Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy. In addition, they installed new halon-free fire extinguishers to comply with the new regulations and replaced both main landing gear wheel assemblies with spare units because they were worn down to the limit.

A Dassault Falcon 7X arrived for a 12-month inspection. Even though slots were almost fully booked, AMAC Aerospace Turkey managed to service the aircraft with overtime planning. In addition, capacity tests were performed on the main batteries, and three fuel tank gauges that failed were replaced with serviceable units. The customer, who regularly visits AMAC Aerospace Istanbul, stated: “The entire process, from beginning to end, was excellent. We sincerely appreciate your support. In every maintenance event, we see a transparent team that approaches each request with a genuine willingness to respond and assist.”
