AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Short Notice Maintenance Inputs Performed on Dassault Falcon Aircraft

As a Dassault Falcon Authorized Service Center, AMAC Aerospace Turkey is obligated to respond quickly to AOG requests. Many of the maintenance inputs are therefore received on short term notice.

Recently, a long term customer contacted the team for AOG support in Ankara, Turkey. AMAC Aerospace Istanbul sent technicians to the location to troubleshoot the issue. It turned out that the default was connected to the generator, so a new part was ordered and the replacement was performed.

A Dassault Falcon 2000LXS received a CAS message indicating low engine pressure. After performing troubleshooting procedures, they rectified the problem, and the anti-ice valve condition became satisfactory.

Another long term customer reported an abnormal brake performance on their Dassault Falcon 2000 and brought the aircraft to AMAC Aerospace’s Istanbul hangar. After conducting troubleshooting, the team observed several faulty codes related to the brake system control unit (BSCU), so they replaced the necessary parts.

A Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy was brought in for maintenance after the operator reported an electrical failure in the cabin. One of the air conditioning controllers and one of the display unit batteries were found to be faulty and were replaced. During the input, the team observed fuel leaking from one of the valves, so they replaced the sump drain valve. They also installed a spare wheel because the tire was worn out.

Lastly, a new European customer contacted AMAC Aerospace after reporting a water leak during a flight. The customer had a tight flight schedule, so the team started working on the issue immediately. The leak originated from the water filter cartridge, so the team replaced the part, allowing the aircraft to return to service just a few hours later.
