AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Troubleshooting and Defect Rectifications Performed on Dassault Falcon Aircraft

When customers experience issues with their Dassault Falcon aircraft, they often contact AMAC Aerospace’s hangars in Istanbul for short-notice maintenance.

A long term customer’s Dassault Falcon 7X arrived at the hangar when oil signs had been observed on an engine under cowl. AMAC Aerospace’s team performed troubleshooting to locate the problem and found that the fuel control unit (FCU) gear shaft seals, plate and packings needed to be replaced. They also found that the fuel supply line was in poor condition and replaced it with a new part. An engine run was performed and no further leakage was observed.

Another long term customer brought in their Dassault Falcon 2000S because the wing anti-ice monitoring was inoperative. The Istanbul team performed the requested troubleshooting and found that the bleed air supply computer (BASC) was faulty. They replaced the computer and performed an operational test to verify that the issue was resolved.

The crew of a Dassault Falcon 900EX EASy reported an intermittent CAS message during engine start, so they flew to AMAC Aerospace Istanbul to have it checked. AMAC Aerospace’s technicians found that the engine starter generator was not operating properly. At the customer's request, they also checked the batteries and found that the voltage of one of the standby batteries was fluctuating. All parts were ordered on AOG basis and replaced immediately.
