Heavy Corrosion Rectification on Gulfstream IV
A customer from South Asia brought their Gulfstream IV to AMAC Aerospace in Basel, Switzerland, for maintenance. The aircraft underwent 1C, 6C and 2,000-flight cycle checks. During the inspections, AMAC Aerospace’s team found heavy corrosion on the stabilizers on both the left and right sides of the aircraft and began a major project to rectify the issue.
At the beginning of October, the defect rectification was completed and the aircraft was redelivered to a very satisfied customer.
