Various Gulfstream Aircraft at AMAC Aerospace Switzerland for Maintenance
AMAC Aerospace provides extensive maintenance services for Gulfstream aircraft and welcomes several of these aircraft every week. Recent projects include a 6-month inspection of a Gulfstream G650 owned by a head of state, a 1000-flight-hour check on a privately owned Gulfstream G450, and a 144-month inspection of another privately owned Gulfstream G450. Shortly thereafter, a Gulfstream G650 arrived for due maintenance, followed by another Gulfstream G650 that dropped in for troubleshooting of its satcom system.
AMAC Aerospace’s Gulfstream team also welcomed a Gulfstream G500 for a registry change and a Gulfstream G450 for an air intake repair. Lastly, the team traveled to Genoa to provide AOG support for a Gulfstream G550 that had been hit by lightning. The aircraft was then transferred to the hangars in Basel, where it underwent further repairs and a 1C check. The aircraft received a new engine, while the original engine was sent to the shop for repairs before being reinstalled.
