GAMIT’s ROAM wins 10-year Scandinavian Airlines System Denmark-Norway-Sweden (SAS) digital records management tender

11/26/2024 GAMIT Ltd (an AMAC Aerospace Company), based in Stansted, UK has been awarded a long-term contract to digitize the technical records of SAS’s fleet using the aerospace industry leading software produced by GAMIT called ROAM (Records Online Asset Management) which is a digital records management solution.

SAS will utilize ROAM to further modernize its operations and seamlessly manage the technical documentation generated by its fleet, using ROAM’s unique functions and integrations to monitor & manage airworthiness compliance. ROAM is a tool that will enable SAS to capitalize on operational efficiencies optimizing manpower and aid their continuous improvement objectives.

Aron Winsth, Manager Aircraft transfer and Records of SAS says "I am excited to start using the ROAM system as our digital records system. This will give us a completely new way of working. We will also, in an efficient and less time-consuming way be able to have full control over our airworthiness document(s), finding document(s) with the advanced search function and being more proactive in returning aircraft. This is fully in line and allows us to continue with our digitization strategy."
