    The AOECS Annual Conference 2025 is complete! Over 100 delegates met in Brussels to discuss how to improve the lives of people with coeliac disease across Europe. We found 5 priorities for change: earlier diagnosis through screening, better support during care transitions, improved awareness in healthcare and tourism, more collaboration between countries, and fair access to care for coeliacs.

Counting down to C-Day! 💚 On 17 October, AOECS will bring together coeliac societies, healthcare professionals and researchers from across Europe in Brussels for the Annual Conference 2025. Under the theme “Boosting innovation on healthcare solutions for coeliac patients,” the event will feature leading experts including Prof. Catassi, Dr Deanna L. Kelly, and Maria Luisa Mearin Manriquez, alongside engaging break-out sessions on integrated healthcare, transitional care and travelling gluten free. While registration is now closed, we look forward to sharing key highlights and insights from this inspiring day of collaboration and innovation.

The Slovenian Coeliac Society is set to host the second edition of Gluten-Free Expo Slovenia on Saturday and Sunday, 27-28 September 2025, in the picturesque town of Radovljica. The main day on the 28th is a free-to-attend event that brings together producers, experts, and the public for a vibrant celebration of the gluten-free lifestyle. Visitors will be able to explore a wide variety of exhibitors offering everything from traditional Slovenian gluten-free dishes to international products, including bread, pasta, desserts, and drinks.
