Penning the Constitution. To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Germany’s Basic Law from 1948, which forms its constitution, the DNA code of the ink of the original constitutional document has been deciphered and incorporated into the ink of the Graf von Faber-Castell collection.

Faber-Castell AG has appointed Dirk Engehausen as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Engehausen succeeds Gerhard Berssenbrügge, who stepped down from the board for regulatory reasons at the end of 2023.

In accordance with the company’s internal regulations regarding age, Gerhard Berssenbrügge will step down as Chairman of the Faber-Castell AG Supervisory Board at the end of 2023. He will be succeeded by the former CEO of the Schleich Group, Dirk Engehausen, as a new supervisory board member.
Faber-Castell has acquired the company Robert E. Huber GmbH, a renowned manufacturer of precision mechanical products and components specializing in the production of high-quality writing instruments and accessories for global brands. "We are delighted to welcome Robert E. Huber to the Faber-Castell Group," said Stefan Leitz, CEO of Faber-Castell.
In the 2022/23 financial year, Faber-Castell generated the second-highest turnover in the company's history. After markets largely recovered from Covid-19 restrictions, the company realized a strong increase in turnover of 24,2 %, with sales rising to 649.2 million euros, up from 522.6 million euros the year before.
As the first company in the writing, drawing, and creative products industry, Faber-Castell is starting its first Web3 project, "Faberverse." Faber-Castell aims to create a platform in Web3 where various stakeholders can come together: digital and traditional artists, fans, thinkers, and collectors.
The company’s forest in Brazil, more recycled plastic as well as projects for green electricity and water: Faber-Castell is continually improving its environmental impact by using more sustainable materials and renewable energies, among other things.
