Realignment in the premium segment: ottohutt brand will no longer be continued as an independent brand in the future. With the acquisition of Robert E. Huber GmbH in 2023, Faber-Castell invested heavily in the expansion of its premium segment. This step will allow the company to upgrade its core brand range and consolidate brand-specific communication and retail activities.
The Faber-Castell Academy, a pioneer in nurturing creative talent since 1995, will close its doors at the end of 2026. Until then, the renowned educational institution will continue to provide high-quality training.

Penning the Constitution. To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Germany’s Basic Law from 1948, which forms its constitution, the DNA code of the ink of the original constitutional document has been deciphered and incorporated into the ink of the Graf von Faber-Castell collection.
Faber-Castell aims to motivate people to express their creativity and individuality with high-quality and innovative products for painting, drawing and writing. A lot of people are held back by a lack of belief in their own abilities. The new global brand campaign, “Creativity in your hands”, aims to strengthen their confidence in their own creativity.

Faber-Castell AG has appointed Dirk Engehausen as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Engehausen succeeds Gerhard Berssenbrügge, who stepped down from the board for regulatory reasons at the end of 2023.
New Sustainability Report 2022/23: Faber-Castell has made progress, particularly in renewable energy and recycled plastic, thus continuing to implement its ambitious sustainability strategy. Creativity is firmly anchored as a driver for change in the company’s global consumer approach.
